When your recommendation for hire is approved. Here is what you can expect next:
You’ll be emailed instructions to complete and approve your pre-employment forms from HR Center. The e-mail will have instructions applicable to your position.
This could include information for fingerprinting, obtaining official transcripts, and certification information.
When your pre-employment requirements are fulfilled you will receive an email with an invitation to sign up for your New Employee Orientation via the HR Center.

New Employee Orientation
You’ll be scheduled to attend orientation once your data has been entered into the employee database. In this session, you will learn about:
Online resources for employees
Board policy
Payroll and Leave
Appraisal systems
Information technology
Retirement
Benefits
Professional development opportunities
Risk Management
Mandatory training
Complete and bring:
- I-9 form and supporting documentation
- Direct deposit form
- Documents your HR Specialists have requested that you provide
- Texas school district service records, if applicable
