Phase 2: Students First

Typically September

The school year is up and running.  September is a time to get to know your campus students and corresponding data points.  Time to build and focus on RELATIONSHIPS!  Get into the cafeteria, be visible in the halls, and get into classrooms.

Schedule, Job Duties, and Expectations

  • Plan time on your calendar to get into classrooms and to be present with students.
  • Work with the Director of Performance Management in the Human Resources Department to identify what appraisal training you need.  If you are not yet T-TESS trained, it is time to get registered for this training.
  • Read the Employee Handbook.
  • Complete annually required staff Compliance Training modules.  These will be sent out by the Professional Development Department and will be found in Eduphoria.
  • Learn more about the Round Rock ISD Personnel Policies.
